Bharuch: Rail movements on Mumbai - Delhi track were delayed by one hour due to presence of a 7 - ft crocodile over railway track at Chavaj near Bharuch in Central Gujarat in the evening on Wednesday. A crocodile was spotted on railway track here by engine staff of Jodhpur bound train from Mumbai. The train was stopped and railway control room was contacted for shifting of crocodile.

Vadodara: The experts of an animal related NGO and forest department today rescued at least 3 crocodiles from different parts of Vadodara where the reptiles had entered during the recent rain caused floods.
In another incident one such reptile was crushed to death by an unknown vehicle in the district.
A forest official said that the crocodile was killed by the vehicle near Ganpatpura village on Savali road this morning.

Surat: Forest department teams are in search of a crocodile in river Tapi which was spotted between Kamrej and Sarthana. For last two days, locals have complained that they have seen crocodile in Ved-Dabholi area which is unusual because Tapi has generally no presence of crocodiles. According to locals, the crocodile is 6-ft long. According to forest official Punit Naiyar, the department has received complain and a team is in search of crocodile.

Anand: A farmer in Malataj Village near Anand got the scare of his life when he saw an eight foot long crocodile resting under his cot.
