Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today approved a new city survey superintendent’s office at Gandhidham to provide property card on the basis of documents of 30,000 lease land holders on the Deendayal (Kandla) Port Trust in the Kutch district.

Bhuj: Bhoomi Pujan for proposed ISKCON temple near Adipur was performed on Monday. The temple will come up behind Lilasha Kutiya in Hare Krishna Park over 2400 vaar plot. Along with the temple, Vedik Culture Centre will also come up. Large number of devotees from all over Kutch attended the ceremony which was performed by ISKCON Gujarat head Jashomatinandandas, ISKCON Meera Road's Gudakesh Prabhu and project head Murtimanasdasji.

The broadening works of the Adipur-Mundra highway, Bhuj-Anjar highway and Bhachau-Rapar highway were kicked off by the state R&B minister on Sunday in Kutch district.

Responding to demands made by travelers, Western Railway has changed the timings of 19151/19152 Gandhidham-Palanpur intercity train.
According to divisional railway manager, train no 19151 Palanpur - Gandhidham express will leave Palanpur at 00.01 and reach Gandhidham at 5.30 am. On return journey, train no.19152 Gandhidham-Palanpur express will leave Gandhidham at 22.00 and reach Palanpur at 4.00 am.

A new campus of Indian Maritime University(IMU) will come up over 12.6 acre land in Gandhidham. This was announced by IMU Vice Chancellor Mukesh Baveja yesterday in Kandla.
