Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has today given building use (BU) permission and structural safety certificate to reconstructed Motera cricket stadium in the city after considering various parameters related to structural stability, fire safety and steps taken for water harvesting. Earlier AMC's Fire & Emergency Services department had given fire No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Motera stadium.

Ahmedabad: Three top office bearers of the Gujarat Cricket Association including its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) cum treasurer Dheerajbhai Jogani today resigned from their posts in the wake of the recent acceptance of Lodha Committee's recommendations by the Supreme Court.
Apart from Jogani, Vice President Kanhaiya Lal Contractor and Secretary Rajesh Patel also resigned from their respective posts citing the restrictions of maximum 9 years for holding offices in a cricket body.
