Gandhinagar: Ghogha - Dahej RoRo Ferry with combined efforts for Government of Gujarat and Central Government will resume tidal operations from 24th February, 2020.
Presently, ferry will operate in tide(high water) and in daylight. It will make one round trip each day. Government has assured that dredging at Dahej will continue to provide sufficient draft for ferry for two round trips a day.

New Delhi: Dahej - Ghogha row row ferry service is closed since long due to draft problem which is linked to dredging. The Government of Gujarat has sought technical assistance from Union Shipping ministry to find a way to resume the service. Surat: A delegation led by The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries president Ketan Desai on Monday called on MoS Shipping in Centre Mansukh Mandaviya and demanded that Dahej - Ghogha ro - ro ferry service should resume.

Bharuch: A ro-ro ferry service operating between Dahej in Central Gujarat and Ghogha in Saurashtra region of Gujarat has been suspended for indefinite period due to inadequate depth of water at Dahej terminal based approach channel and turning circle. This has been stated by private operator Indigo Seaways Pvt Ltd.
The suspension of service is attributed to heavy and unexpected siltation caused by overflowing Narmada river.

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government arm Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) has invited RFP (Request for Proposal) for selection of operator for ferry services for Ghogha - Hazira, Rozi(Jamnagar) - Old Mundra and Okha - Mandvi sea routes in Gujarat.

Bhavnagar: In the wake of approaching cyclone VAYU, the Ro Ro ferry between Ghogha and Dahej across gulf of Cambay in Gujarat has been suspended from today.

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today laid the foundation stone of Gujarat’s first-ever 6-lane flyover over single-piers to be built at a cost of Rs.90-crore near Gondal Crossing at Rajkot city for a permanent solution to traffic snarls.
