Jamnagar: The restoration of the heritage structure Bhujiyo Kotho in Jamnagar is likely to be completed within the next 6 months. Bhujiyo Kotho was damaged in the 2001 Gujarat Earthquake. Its head, wider than 12 feets had fallen inside during the earthquake. Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC) had made MoU with the archeological department for the restoration of the Bhujiyo Kotho preserving its historical value. Gujarat govt approves Rs 27 crore for renovation of palace in Amreli and set up a museum there

Amreli: Amreli is set to witness the renovation of the palace built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad over one and a half century ago. The state government has approved a budget of Rs 27 crore for this project, which will include the development of a museum, a hall, and other related facilities.
