Gandhinagar: The state government has formed a committee to inquire into the reasons of the incident of chemical misuse in Botad, Barwala and and Dhandhuka talukas. Total 28 persons in rural Botad and Ahmedabad district have been dead after consuming stolen Methyl Alcohol chemical - which was only for industrial use - mixed with water. New Delhi: The Supreme Court has dismissed a plea of former IPS officer Kuldeep Sharma seeking termination of a departmental probe initiated against him. Instead the apex court has directed the state government to complete the departmental inquiry against Kuldeep Sharma at the earliest and to allow him the opportunity to raise his objections to the findings before a concerned committee.
