Porbandar: INS Shardul, deployed for Operation Samudra Setu, entered Porbandar harbour with 233 Indian Nationals onboard, who were earlier evacuated from Bandar Abbas port in Iran.
Personnel from Indian Navy, State authorities and Police were present to receive the evacuees. All arrangements including a screening zone, a sanitisation zone, availability of ambulances and buses for transport were put in place at the port.

Porbandar: 200 fishermen from Gujarat, stuck in Iran due to Covid-19 situation, today boarded INS Shardul of Indian Navy at Shahid Bahonar port in Bandar Abbas, to return to Porbandar as part of Operation Samudra Setu, launched by the Govt of India under third phase of Vande Bharat Mission. In second visit, INS Shardul will being back fishermen from Tamil Nadu and Kerala stuck in Iran.

Porbandar: Nine Iranian nationals were held in a mid-sea operation off Porbandar coast of Gujarat by Anti Terrorist Squad(ATS) Gujarat with assistance of Marine Task Force and Indian Coast Guard. Bhuj:The Indian coast-guard have nabbed a suspicious looking Iranian ship in the sea off Gujarat coast.
Highly placed sources said that the vessel with containers on it was named 'Negar' and had gone towards African coast in the Indian ocean.

Ahmedabad: Two Irani nationals were caught with gold and jewelry worth Rs 1.5 crore from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International airport in Ahmedabad today.
A custom official today said that the two travelers from Iran had arrived in flight number EK 540 of the Emirates Airlines. They had boarded the plane in Dubai.
