Bardoli: Four days after an incident of theft of 20 ancient idols belonging to 16th and 17th century, police is still clueless and no arrest has been made.
The incident of theft took place on Friday night at 1008 Vighnahar Parshwanath Digambar Jain temple in Vighnahar street of Mahuva town in Surat district.
The murtis were made of panchdhatu(mixture of five metals).

Junagadh: Despite use of drone cameras to track a Jain Muni, who is missing for almost a week since his visit to Girnar mountain here, the police so far has not been able to find him.
Police said that Digambar Jain Muni Mudit Sararji (35) had left for Girnar from Nirmal Sagar Dhyan Kendra Dharmshala in the wee hours of January 23.
He has been missing from Sahsavan forest area since that day. The manager of the Dharmashala Bhagchand had lodged the report in this regard.

Mumbai: As many as 40 from Gujarat will leave worldly life and become monks in disksha ceremony which is to be held on 13th March this year in Mumbai.

Surat: A 12-year-old Bhavya Shah today renounced his family and joined the order of Jain monks in a diksha ceremony held here in presence of thousands of people and hundreds of monks.
