Rajkot: Virpur town near Rajkot city in Gujarat is celebrating the 222nd birth anniversary of Jalaram Bapa today on 11th November. Total 222 cakes of three colors red, yellow and white are prepared to mark Jalaram Bapa's birth anniversary. There are long queues of the devotees for darshan at the mandir since late night. Virpur: Jalaram Mandir which was closed for visitors for a 12 days period in order to avoid crowding on the occasion of Janmashtami and other festivals of holy Shravan month in view of Covid-19 pandemic situation, reopened today. Token system has been however made compulsory for visitors now onward for entry in the temple. The timings of mandir have also been curtailed for visits.
