Ahmeabad: The 51 member Japanese delegation led by the Mayor of Kobe held a meeting with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Authorities to finalise the joint declaration of work plan
to further the Terms of Letter of Intent (LOI) signed earlier between the cities of Kobe and Ahmedabad for mutual co-operation for economic development and cultural relation.

Ahmedabad: Japanese Ambassador to India Satoshi Suzuki today inaugurated Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing (JIM), at the Indian premises of a Japanese pharma company in Ahmedabad of Gujarat.

Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad - Mumbai high speed rail project will see partial start in year 2022 and start a new culture of transportation in year 2023, said Ashok Chawla, advisor in External Affairs Ministry looking after Japan desk.
Chawla in reply to media said the bullet train project is going on as per schedule. He said tender process had started and some construction work on the surface could be visible in early next year. He added that once the work commences, it will progress speedily.
