Surat: A cruise service connecting southern Gujarat city Surat to Maharashtra capital Mumbai will start from November 10 from Hazira (coastal industrial belt of Surat). The service will be operated by Essar.

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government today said the State Chief Minister has given in-principle approval to start Hazira (Surat) - Bandra (Mumbai) passenger ferry service.
According to the details shared by the government, private firm SSR Marine Service Pvt Ltd will operate a 300-passenger capacity ferry with facilities matching to foreign cruise ships. A fully-air conditioned passenger ferry will have 20-room facility.
