Gandhinagar: India's largest power producer NTPC plans to set up an ultra-mega solar park in Gujarat for a phased capacity of 5000 MW at an estimated investment of Rs 20,000 crore as per a report in Business daily Business Standard. New Delhi: NTPC Ltd's Kawas has become first power unit in the state to install 1MW grid-connected floating solar project, which is likely to be commissioned in April 2019. Surat: National Thermal Power Corporation(NTPC) has signed Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with Surat Municipal Corporation(SMC) for scientific processing of solid waste and power generation through that.
