Gandhinagar: Gujarat is No.1 in installation of rooftop solar projects with installed capacity of 261.97 Mega Watt (MW) as on 23 July, 2019. New Delhi: In financial year 2018-19, the country’s total collection of Direct Taxes stood at Rs. 11,37,685.41 crore, in which Gujarat stood at No. 5 position with total Direct Tax collection of Rs. 49,021.69 crore. New Delhi: Under the Government of India’s Startup India initiative, a total of 19,351 startups have been recognised so far out of which 985 startups are from Gujarat. The highest number recognised at 3661 startups is from Maharashtra, then comes Karnataka with 2847 startups, followed by Delhi with 2552. Credit amount to MSMEs in Gujarat goes up, but number of MSME accounts goes down

New Delhi: The outstanding credit by Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs) to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Gujarat was higher at Rs 60,153 crore in FY2017-18 as against Rs 55,245 crore in FY2016-17. But,the number of MSME accounts availing credit facility from the SCBs went down from 4.41 lakh in 2016-17 to 4.19 lakh in 2017-18 in Gujarat. Minister of Finance Smt. Number of PAN holders increased by 11% but filing of ITRs declined by 7.5% in Gujarat in 2018-19

New Delhi: The number of Permanent Account Number (PAN) holders has gone up by 11% from 2,31,66,632 in FY2017-18 to 2,57,18,319 in FY2018-19 in Gujarat. However, number of Income Tax Returns (ITRs) filed in the state has witnessed dip of 7.50% in the same period. As against 71,41,250 ITRs filed in FY2017-18, only 66,05,231 ITRs were filed in FY2018-19. Union Minister of Finance Smt.
