Bhuj: To commemorate 72nd Army Day and symbolising the spirit of adventure in the Indian Army, an eight day long Land Yatching Expedition was flagged in at Dhorodo. Bhuj: 1,15,357 visitors visited white Rann of Kutch since 11 November this year. In less than one month, the district administration has earned Rs. 1.2 crore as entry permit fee from visitors at Bhirandiyara and Dhordo check posts. Highest number of visitors visited the white Rann of Kutch during 22-26 December. Rann Utsav this year is going to continue till Holi. Compared to previous year, this year so far the total number of visitors are lesser by 35%.

Gandhinagar, Thursday: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani instantaneously solved the problems of saltpans during his dialogue ‘Mokla Mane’ with the representatives of agariyas (saltpans) at his residence here today.
The representatives pointed out that they did not get subsidy even after lapse of two years. The officer present there pointed out that application for subsidy has to be submitted within six months of buying the solar pumps.

Bhuj: The Border security force (BSF ) today nabbed a Pakistani intruder near international border in Rapar area in Kutch district of Gujarat.
A BSF official said that the intruder nabbed by the 37th battalion of BSF from near pillar number 110/2S close to Khadir. He has been identified as 22 year old Tagji R Valadiya, resident of village Kasbo in Mithi Tharparkar in Sindh province of Pakistan.

Brigadier Rajat Upreti, Commander, Air Defence Brigade Bhuj flagged of the expedition which consists of 15 members led by Captain Navyog Singh who shall navigate their route of approx 400 Kms sailing over the barren flat land of Rann and exploring various places like Dharamshala, Shaktibet and the festive town of Dhorodo.
