Gandhinagar: Transport Commissioner of Gujarat has said that processes of issuance of national permit, renewal of national permit, and renewal of national permit authorisation for transport vehicles have been made faceless. Gandhinagar: More than 2.63 lakh applicants have been issued learner’s licenses at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in just over ten months since select ITIs were authorized to issue the licenses, official data shows. Ahmedabad: Local RTO office here has slapped a balance tax levy of Rs 27.68 lakh on the owner of Porsche 911 car. The car was detained by Police Sub Inspector MB Virja during a routine check by Ahmedabad Traffic West Police for not having required documents. Rs. 27.68 lakh is one of the highest fine amounts levied in the country ever. Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today made announcement that RTO check posts will be abolished with effect from November 20 this year. Truckers and others will need to make self declaration and go online for procedure. At the same time they will also have offline option by approaching nearby RTO. Surat: RTO office here has given ultimatum to PUC (Pollution Under Control) centres across the city to upload the data of issuance of certificate online or face cancellation of license to operate.
