Junagadh: A video has gone viral on social media showing lions being harassed and teased in Gir National Park. In the clip, two people riding a bike attempted to chase and harass the lions in Gir National Park near the Durshara Range. The tourists were also shocked to see the two individuals harassing the lions. Last month, the forest department had apprehended two people from Ahmedabad who had harassed lions in Amreli. Junagadh: A farm laborer was attacked by lion in farm area of Umrala village near Bilkha in Junagadh district. The injured laborer is under medical treatment at present in Junagadh based Civil hospital. A laborer was on nature's call in farm area when a lion attacked it at around 7 am. Junagadh: Forest department has issued a circular and invited the villagers from 17 villages near Sasan to run the open Gypsy car service for taking visitors to jungle safari for lion spotting. Junagadh: Sasan-Gir sanctuary, the last abode of Asiatic lions will reopen for the visitors from 16th October after the four-month monsoon vacation.
