More Gypsy cars required for Gir jungle safari; Villagers from 17 nearby villages offered opporunity

Junagadh: Forest department has issued a circular and invited the villagers from 17 villages near Sasan to run the open Gypsy car service for taking visitors to jungle safari for lion spotting. The villages are Bhojde, Chitrod, Sangodra, Bhalchhel, Haripur, Najapur, Chhatariya, Surajgadh, Chitravad, Hiranvel, Amrapur Gir, Devgam, Jalandhar, Katrasa, Amrapaur Kathi, Gadakiya, Gundiyali and Malanka. Sasan Gir sanctuary to reopen for visitors

Junagadh: Sasan-Gir sanctuary, the last abode of Asiatic lions will reopen for the visitors from 16th October after the four-month monsoon vacation. The fixed route of the eco-tourism zone in Sasan Gir will reopen for the visitors from 16th October. Online permit booking has already started on the official website of Sasan Gir sanctuary.
