New Delhi: The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) Friday said it will set up a multi-speciality hospital and a senior secondary school in Sitapur in Gujarat.
Both projects will be fully-funded as CSR initiatives by MSI with an investment of around Rs 125 crore over a five-year period, it said in a statement.

Gandhinagar: Speaking at inaugural function of Vibrant Gujarat Summit - 2019 at Mahatma Mandir here, Toshihiro Suzuki, President and COO, Suzuki Motors, said his company plans to commission third assembly plants of Suzuki Motors Gujarat in 2020 which will enhance annual production capacity of Suzuki Motors Gujarat to 750,000 units. New Delhi: The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India expects easing of waiting period pressure of its top-selling models Baleno and SUV Brezza, with parent Suzuki ramping up production at the Gujarat plant by adding a second shift from this month, a senior company official said.
The Hansalpur-based facility in Gujarat is Suzuki Motor Corporation's first wholly-owned unit in India. It has been producing close to 10,000 units of premium hatchback Baleno a month.

Gandhinagar: Japan's Suzuki Motor Corp today announced fresh investments of around Rs 3,800 crore in Gujarat to add a third car production plant.
The company along with its partners Toshiba and Denso will also invest around Rs 1,150 crore for a new unit to produce lithium ion batteries.

Ahmedabad: Encouraged by support of the state and central government, Suzuki Motors has started working on 'B' line at its Gujarat plant. This is the second line in addition to existing 'A' line which is going to be inaugurated next month.
A 2.5 lakh/annum capacity 'B' line work has been launched on Monday. Target completion date for this second line is 30th December 2017. After a month long trial period, 'B' line may start delivering cars from February 1 next year.
