Sanand: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today inaugurated a Taiwanese tyre manufacturer Maxxis's first plant in India. The plant is spread over 106 acres area. Rupani said Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) for this plant was signed in year 2015 edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. The plant has been set up with investment of Rs 2640 crore. Maxxis group head Mr Lo Tsai-Jen today called on the Gujarat Chief Minister in capital town Gandhinagar and briefed her about company's proposed 43 hectare tyre manufacturing plant at Sanand.

A group of 24 Shiv bhakta Taiwanese youths is in Gujarat these days on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.
They do Yoga early in the morning, they chant Sanskrit shlokas without any mistake and they participate in yagna too.
They are in Ahmedabad since January 29th to participate in special Yoga training camp at city's Shivananda ashram.
