Lunavada: The forest department today said that the pug mark of the wild beast found in and around Signali forest in Mahisagar district where a tiger was found last month was not that of a tigress/tiger but of a leopard.

Lunavada: The around seven to eight year old tiger which was traced by the forest department recently in the forest of Mahisangar district in central Gujarat and was first ever confirmed presence of tiger in Gujarat after around 3 decades, has died seemingly due to non-adoption to the new environment.

Lunavada (Gujarat): The forest department today confirmed the presence of tiger in a forest in Mahisagar district in central Gujarat.
DCF of Mahisagar R M Parmar said that the team looking for such a beast after claim by a local teacher and photo taken by him in his mobile camera, has found its put mark in Santrampur forests this morning. Bharuch: In a major news, a wild tiger has been spotted within the limits of Gujarat.
A teacher from Gugaliya village in Mahisagar district of Central Gujarat today while returning to Lunawada in his vehicle, spotted a tiger crossing a road and clicked it in his mobile camera.
