Modasa: The state government has approved the scheme worth Rs 178.37 crore for Aravalli district under which water will be lifted from Vatrak dam for supply to 73 villages of Malpur, Modasa and Meghraj. It is learnt that the water will be lifted at a 10 km distance from the left bank of Vatrak dam upstream areas. Gujarat govt approves lift irrigation scheme for Arvalli district

Gandhinagar (Information): Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today approved Rs. 117.13 crore lift irrigation schemes for upstream Vatrak reservoir in Aravalli district. This entails filling up total 60 ponds in predominantly tribal Meghraj, Malpur and also Modasa to irrigate 4,695 acre for 12 months.
