Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today said the Chief Minister has given in-principle approval for construction of 24 hydraulic storage structure units over four major rivers of tribal populated district Dang at an estimated cost of Rs. 26 crore. Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani today granted permission to build ‘Bandhara’ (small dam) on Mul Path Rekha at Mityala village of Jafrabad tehsil in Amreli district.
This Bandhara will supply 93.50 MCFT irrigation waters to four villages – Mityala, Lunashapur, Vandh and Kagvadar – of Amreli.

Gandhinagar: The Government of India has given approval to dig 2512 irrigation wellsat a cost of Rs. 97.48 crore under Pradhanmantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana in Dang district of South Gujarat.
The State government had moved a proposal in this regard to the Centre, according to which the estimated cost of entire project was Rs. 163.29 crore in 60:40 Centre:State ratio. Accordingly the Centre has allocated Rs. 97.48 crore to Gujarat.
